Research Profile of Rani Channamma University

Rani Channamma University, Belagavi (RCUB) has diverse disciplines of research. The faculty members of RCUB are undertaking research in the areas of Science and Technology, Social Science & Humanities, Commerce and business management and Library Information-Science under the umbrella of nine Schools. RCUB has a strong track record of acquiring external funding in both individual and collaborative projects from DST, DBT, VGST, UGC, ICSSR and other government agencies. In addition to having four study chairs, RCUB is currently participating in collaborative/joint research with various research institutions and Universities within India and abroad.

Faculty members of RCUB actively engage in research and published more than 1000 papers in last five years. In addition to external funding University is providing seed money for junior faculty members to encourage research and setting up laboratory. Research in RCUB has also received numerous prizes and fellowships.
