Established in 2010 by the Government of Karnataka, Rani Channamma University (RCUB) is a dynamic and rapidly expanding institution. It is proudly named after Kittur Rani Channamma, India's first female freedom fighter.

Covering the jurisdictions of Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Bagalkote districts, RCUB is one of the largest universities in the state, representing a blend of rural ethos and a modern, progressive outlook. We are committed to shaping responsible citizens with high moral and social conduct.

RCUB currently oversees 372 affiliated colleges and 06 autonomous colleges, providing quality education to an estimated 1.35 lakh students.

Our main campus, 'Vidyasangama', houses 25 postgraduate departments under 9 schools, offering both conventional and non-conventional courses with an updated, contemporary curriculum.

The university actively supports higher studies with over 381 research students currently, along with offering diploma and certificate courses. More than 400 Ph.D. degrees have been awarded.
