Our University received the ‘Emerging University Award’ during the National Geospatial Awards 2025-Edition 2. This award is an initiative of the FOSSEE (GIS) project, IIT Bombay, which is organized under the aegis of the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), Ministry of Education, Government of India. With this national award, a plethora of FOSSEE GIS (NMEICT) project benefits have been opened up to our Constituent/Affiliated Colleges, Faculty, and students.
Rani Channamma University has been sanctioned a transformation grant of 100 Crore under the PM-USHA scheme in 2024 by the State & Central Government in the ratio of 60:40. We are pleased to share the progress on our new campus. As per the action plan of PM-USHA, a research block, buildings for School of Languages and Study Chairs are being constructed in our new campus. Our Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah sir inaugurated the works of these buildings by laying the foundation stone on 4th October 2025.

We are proud to announce the establishment of RCU-FOUNDATION FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLING AND MANAGEMENT ACADEMIA (RCU-FESMA). This is a Section 8 not-for-profit organization established in collaboration with Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi, committed to entrepreneurship promotion, skill development and capacity building in management.
