೨೦೦೦ರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಶಾಸನಬದ್ಧ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ
ಆಯಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಭರವಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು
ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಂಡಿಕೇಟ್ಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡುವ
ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಪಿಎಂಇಬಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.
ದೃಷ್ಟಿ:
ಆಯಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಯೋಜನೆ, ನಿರಂತರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಠಿಣ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಣಿ ಚನ್ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ,
ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯನ್ನು
ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದು ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಯಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
ಧ್ಯೇಯ:
- ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು.
- ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ನೀತಿಗಳ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನವನ್ನು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
- ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
- ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಬಳಕೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸುವುದು.
- ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು.
- ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವುದು.
- ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಜೆಟ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡುವುದು.
- ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
- ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
- ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವುದು.
- ಹೊಸ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳು, ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡುವುದು.
- ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ರಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುವುದು.
- ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಭರವಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ವರ್ಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು.
- ನಿಯತಕಾಲಿಕ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ಲೆಕ್ಕಪರಿಶೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದು.
- ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕ್ರೋಢೀಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅನುದಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪಾಲುದಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸುವುದು.

- Conceptualization and initiation to introduce innovative and need-based academic
programs;
- Grooming the faculty to envision, apply and implement cutting-edge research projects;
- Providing consultancy services to deserving individuals, organizations and communities
based on the core competencies of the faculty;
- Carrying out extension activities in order to mitigate social problems and to bring
about integrated development within the jurisdiction of the University;
- Assisting the University authorities in developing a perspective plan and strategic
roadmap; and
- Supporting the University in its endeavour to establish the academic and administrative
framework that is both enabling and ethically responsive.
ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು
PMEB has played an important role in the following:
- Planning, processing and awarding of Minor Research Projects to forty-six faculty
members of the University;
- Preparation and implementation of ‘Guidelines for Utilization of Research and
Development Grants’ for ensuring decentralized and effective implementation of Research
and Development (R&D) projects in the University;
- Preparation and implementation of the ‘Guidelines for Providing Finical Support to
Teachers of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi’ for providing the framework for
inviting proposals, sanctioning the projects, providing the financial support, and
evaluating the effectiveness of the projects at the University;
- Adoption of UGC’s Guidance document on ‘Good Academic Research Practices (GRAP)’ at the
University;
- Initiative to introduce and implement National Innovation and Start-up Policy (NISP) at
the University;
- Adoption of Ten Government Schools within the jurisdiction of the University for
ensuring their integrated development;
- Establishment of Office of Research Integrity (ORI) in keeping with UGC’s Guidance
document on ‘Good Academic Research Practices (GRAP)’ at the University;
- Starting of Add-on Courses that improve the employability and competencies of the
students of the University; and
- Adoption of UGC’s ‘Research and Publication Ethics’ (RPE) in the Doctoral Programme of
the University.
