About Section : The Examination Section of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi monitories the responsibilities of entire examination process of all UG and PG courses of all departments and affiliated colleges over three districts of Karnataka state. The section has qualified employees with good experience to handle the day to day tasks of the section, also the section holds the responsibilities of monitoring certificates pertaining to education qualifications like marks sheet, convocation certificates, passing certificates and many other certificates were monitored.
The examination section holds the responsibilities of the evaluation of answer scripts of examination conducted Semester /non semester and declaring the results of the students. The section works on challenge to contribute more for the accuracy and fast response on priority of work and adhere to face all challenges in the work.
The section works on priority to serve the responce for the affiliated colleges of the University, regullarly the section functions on examination related quairris and certificates and bills related works,

Specific administrative activities of the Examination Section:

• UG and PG Semester theory and practical examinations are conducted with lot of specific activities.
• Initially BOAE is constituted for the appointment of examiners for the setting of Question papers and valuation.
• After the setting of question papers, applications are called from the students for filling the Examination Forms.
• Indent is prepared according to number of students who have applied for examination for the printing of the question papers.
• Time table is prepared for the examination.
• Orders are also given for the answer scripts and other examination related stationery and arrangements are made to supply the same to the colleges.
• Advance amount is sent to the colleges for the smooth conduct of the examination. List of Centers of Examination and tagged colleges is prepared.
• External Deputy Superintendants are appointed in each center for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
• Squad teams are constituted and sent to various centers of examination across three districts come under the University jurisdiction to curb the malpractices and MPC reports are taken.
• Valuation of papers is done and the results are announced along with the Internal Assessment Marks sent by the colleges. Applications are called for revaluation and retotalling of the valued answer scripts and revaluation results are announced.
• Convocation is conferred on the passed students.
• All Bills related to examination is settled from time to time.
• Under the Ph.dProgramme, Ph.d entrance examinations are conducted, the records of the Ph.D scholars are maintained, marks card of course work programmes are issued. D.Sc /D.Littprogrammes are instituted for the benefit of various scholars who have made significant contributions to the field of Science and Arts.
• RTI and Government letters are handled from time to time.
