    Globalization has changed lot in business and economic environment of both developed and developing countries and it also promote many countries to expand their business across the border, as result of this doors are open to foreign investment, integration of international capital market; allow various countries to compete on the same economic platform etc., and also the

    globalization posed threats but also thrown open abundant avenues of employment to the qualified commerce graduates and post graduates. In order to utilize the opportunity of globalization properly the Rani Channamma University has been providing quality commerce education to the people of three district viz., Belagavi , Bijapur and Bagalkoti.

    Candidates with B.Com, degree are eligible to apply for admission to M.Com programme. Admission is made on the basis of aggregate degree percentage and reservation policy of state government.

    Ph.D

    Three Years/Four years(Part time and Full time

    Candidates with M.Com, degree are eligible to apply for admission to Ph.D. programme. Other Post-Graduate degree holders are also considered if the topic is inter-disciplinary in nature; Admission is based on test (giving equal weight age to the P.G M.Phil, JRF/NET/SLET/FIP and entrance %age and %age of marks in the entrance test).

    • The department has commerce association through this the Department has been conducting special lectures, workshops and also encourage the students to take part in commerce Fest and seminars.

    Since the inception of the Department, the department has been organized conferences and workshops. Apart from that, the Department recently has organized programmes like fourteen days capacity building research methodology course for social science teachers, one day Commerce Meet on Commerce Education-Retrospect and Prospects and many special Lectures also organized.
